Career Quest

In its first year, Career Quest worked with 6th grade classes to bridge the gap between education and businesses. Students visited 20 different industry partners to gain knowledge of the different types of employment opportunities and what it takes to work for the companies. Students were hosted by the businesses where they were presented a company overview and shown the types of jobs available in their particular industry. Greater Hutch, through Reno Rising investors, underwrote the cost of the program with shirts and passports for every participant.
